  • Tried to have a decent family night at a family comedy show. Knew there was a 2 drink minimum so planned ahead. We all got 1 soda and 1 food item. Bill was $99. $52 of it was for soda. Let me say that again .... $13/soda. For a "bottomless" soda. No prices of soda on the menu, just says which products they offer. We were encouraged to get the "bottomless" soda for the free refills and having it count towards the drink minimum. Regular cup of soda is $5.50 (no refills) When I tried to explain that nobody warned the drinks would be $13/each or that it's not even on the menu I got hit with the "I know and I totally agree please don't shoot the messenger" from the waitress. Sent the bill back 2x. The 3rd time she came back she had taken $10 off the total bill. I just paid it out of embarrassment for the company I brought. Will only go back if I ever have the itch to piss away money.
