We've been customers for 4 years and it was a good barbershop in the beginning but we've noticed over the past year that Jerry (owner) has completely checked out. The staff today does not care about their customers and neither does Jerry. The wait has always been 1-1 1/2 hrs we've never sat in a chair earlier than those wait times, but now it's like 2-2 1/2 hrs and that's Sunday thru Saturday none of the current barbers have speed and accuracy. Another reason for those long wait times is There's no staff, during the week he's got, maybe 3 barbers and on the weekends 4, maybe 5 barbers if you're lucky! I can confirm with the other two reviews from Nick and Adrin that this barbershop (all staff) will allow their friends and family ahead of the line and when they arrive in groups now your behind 5 people and your wait just got longer! this does get very irritating and when you bring it to their attention they will disregard it. Very poor business practice. IDK maybe it's this type of industry that has high turn over rates but as a business owner he should always have the staff to meet the high volume of clientele but he never has and recently the wait isn't worth the quality of service you pay for anymore. Another recent growing issue he needs to address is the use of cell phones DURING haircuts it's not productive and really unprofessional. Today You come in take a seat wait for them to call you up, you're never greeted, and they don't try to establish relationships with their clientele. Sorry guys there's nothing special about Hair J's. Sadly today we decided to start taking our business where it's appreciated.
