| - Find a doctor somewhere else. I found this office through my insurance's website and initially felt great with Dr. Merrit. Fast forward to Thursday June 8 when I started getting pain in my lower right side. I called early Friday morning to see if I could see someone. I came in at 11:15 and my appointment was at 11:30. I don't think I was seen until 12:30-1 pm. I was seen by a nurse practitioner this day and she was alright, she requested that I give a pee sample, where they told me I was battling an infection or a kidney stone, and then ordered a CT scan. She also told me to come back Monday morning at 8am. I came back, the receptionist had no clue that I was supposed to come in, and told me to come back at 1130. I left and came back and was still charged the $15 copay even though it was a follow up. This time I think I was only waiting until like 12 to be called back and in the room for about 30 minutes. This time Dr. Merrit was the one who saw me and said that my CT scan looked fine, no appendicitis and no kidney stones, but they wanted to order an ultra sound to ensure there was no changes over the weekend. They also asked if I was allergic to medication, to which I said yes, and said they were writing me a script for another antibiotic as well as giving me an antibiotic shot. The doctor then said we'll see you back in two days to go over the ultra sound and just make sure you're feeling better. I go get the ultra sound and then go about my life for the next two days. Within those 2 days I go to pick up the prescriptions and there are 2 scripts, one of which being the medication I'm allergic to and made clear I cannot take. So go back to the doctor and am once again charged the copay. This is now $45 for just copays, over the past few days on top of $185 for the CT scan and $220 for the ultra sound. I sit down and wait for forever for Dr. Merrit to come in and say they're still not done culturing my urine samples. Which I have now left 2 separate times, and that my ultra sound showed something prominent but that I was fine. They then suggested I do blood work, and sent me to the lab which is literally the same office, but the associates had me walk out to a different door. The flabotomist then began talking all kinds of shit about the associates in the doctors office! I have never had such a poor experience at a doctors office. This one is just so unorganized and unprofessional.
