If you are going to attend on of Montreal's many festivals, you cannot beat this hotel in terms of location. However, they have a long way to go to earn that fourth star. Talk about a group of surly, front desk personnel. I wanted to say, "Now who do you think has had the longer, more challenging day, this group of international travelers or you??
Front desk, slow, uncaring. The carpet's need cleaning and replacing and the personnel need training. As long as you don't expect it to perform to the level of other Hyatt Hotels around the world, it is OK. There is a IGA store on level 2 for water and other snacks and a wine store, too to offset the $10 plus tax glasses of wine.
