This is one of the hotels our company uses for when we travel on business to Las Vegas. The property has always been ok. The service...not great but not bad either.
Recently it's been going under renovations and naturally, there are inconveniences associated with that. No big deal.
Well, tonight I got to my room and it wreaked of ripe sewage. The last time this happened, my colleague who approached my room gagged the stench was so rancid.
I had this problem the other week, and the gal working the front desk was very helpful and understanding. Tonight (12/31) the guy (Alex??) working the front desk was extremely patronizing & condescending and said he knows that it smells like that and he can have housekeeping spray some air freshener. Doing that will only temporarily alleviate the issue, probably minutes at best. Plus it's disgusting and unsanitary. I mentioned this to him and he just smiled and nodded then continued doing other things.
I found the way he handled it to be extremely appalling and hopefully, he'll be retrained in customer relations or perhaps, find another profession that has no association with people.
Based on this employee alone, I would rate this place at zero stars if it was possible.
