| - This is a brand new salon inside the Meadows Mall on the 2nd floor near the food court entrance. The Meadows certainly isn't the most glamorous mall, but this salon is GORGEOUS. They really take you out of that mall feeling while you're getting your service.
I went to get my hair dyed, I had a color in mind but wasn't sure if I could afford it because it would require lightening my hair, so I had a back up color that was darker just in case. I fully understand the work involved and knew I wanted a more complicated service, but I also didn't want to demand something at a basic all over color price. The owner, Yves, came over and looked at my hair and quoted me a price of $160, an amazing price! I had received quotes of $250 and $300 for what I wanted! Kendra was the stylist who actually lightened and colored my hair, she was so so amazing. She was friendly and knowledgeable and knew exactly what I was looking for. They have their owner, their stylists, and assistants who help, so you're always taken care of, they never have to leave you sitting while they take care of someone else, something I've experienced at quite a few salons around town. I even got a glass of white wine during my service (if I had to guess I'd say Barefoot Moscato, it was early in the day so I didn't go with my regular red).
The products they use are all from France, where Yves is from and was trained. He was very involved with all the customers there. He does take customers but he also walks around and makes sure everyone is happy, he kept an eye on me and my hair, which made me feel like he really cared about his customers. Kendra didn't need the supervision, she is absolutely wonderful, but it's nice to see an owner who cares.
My hair turned out better than I had hoped, I was so so happy. The pictures show my new color, this was from a grown out box dyed dark brownish color. I can't recommend this salon enough for their service and prices. Just amazing all around!
