| - Awful, unprofessional, and possibly violates HIPPA laws!
A couple weeks ago after moving to Phoenix from Los Angeles, I went onto Target's Pharmacy website and submitted a prescription transfer. The next day when I went in to pick up the RX, it wasn't ready and they had no record of the transfer. The pharmacy tech stated I must not have submitted it correctly, shocked I explained I work in technology and provided her a printout of the confirmed transfer. She was silent for a moment, no apology given, she then said I must have put in the wrong store. I said really, look at the printout, again she was silent.
For about 10 minutes she didn't say anything, except to asked me to verify my name, date of birth, and address. 40 minutes later, she came back and said my prescription was ready. When I got home and opened the bag, it was the correct prescription but was an unknown doctor.
When I called the Pharmacist, she stated said she didn't understand what the problem was... I explained again the doctor named on the bottle wasn't my doctor, there was silence followed by "oh, yeah that is a problem. What do you want me to do?"
April 24, 2015, I thought I would give this pharmacy another chance. I submitted 2 prescriptions to transfer online, received confirmation then faxed them to the pharmacy. April 25, 2015, prior to going to pick the prescriptions up, I called. They had no record of the transfers, the tech stated are you sure you did it correctly and faxed to the correct store. I simply stated your store number is 2354, I have the transfer confirmations, and your fax number is: 602-308-3615, silence followed with please hold, I need to find them. I asked, isn't that what you were doing while you typing on your keyboard, she stated yes. She asked me 3 times when I faxed over the confirmation...
