  • So this last trip, we stayed at Tropicana, and i'm pretty impressed. If I were to pick where to stay compared to Excalibur, Luxor, or Tropicana, I'd definitely pick Tropicana! Yes, I love the pinks & purples throughout the hotel, but the rooms & hallways have the tropical vibe to them. (No wonder it's called Tropicana.) Other casino hotels on the strip don't have that. Also, when trying to check in, 12:30pm, (as front desk said to do,) I overheard a guest saying that there was a wait list. I almost freaked out, but when it was our turn to come to the front desk, they said there was a room available, it was just on the 10th floor. I laughed, because I was like, "no wonder people are waiting, they don't want to have the 10th floor." LOL We are not picky people, so we took the 10th floor, so we didn't have to waste time waiting LOL I am just glad that front desk gave us the option to see if we wanted the 10th floor or wait for a closer floor to the casino. Tropicana also has good hotel prices, so next time your planning a trip, consider Tropicana. :)
