So I don't know if the other good reviews here are fake but I would never recommend this place to anyone (or want to admit to anyone that I stayed after walking in and sitting in the pedicure chair for a minute). All tools did come out of closed sanitized packaging so I know (hope) it was clean.
The area/strip mall location is not good. But there are sometimes hidden gems in bad areas. This is not one of them. The techs are all very friendly so I feel bad writing a bad review. But I'm paying for a clean, great quality pedicure, not for friendly employees.
They use newspaper to place under your feet when they scrub your heels. Newspaper. Not a towel. As soon as I realized what he was doing when he came back with newspaper in his hand, I asked for a towel instead. But I didn't leave because I was going out of town the next day and it would be inconvenient to leave in the middle of the pedicure. But I should have. The gel light that he brought out was dirty. Visibly dirty. I asked if he could bring a different UV light to use because it was so dirty. He did agree and brought a clean one over. Why a customer has to ask for clean tools at a nail salon is beyond me. And the actual salon had so many dirty cups and water bottles around. I saw a prescription medication canister sitting by the cashier. I'm getting grossed out just writing this and wished that I didn't stay. Wish my regular nail place was open today but at-least I have experienced the worst so I know to tell anyone not to come in. The actual pedicure was not bad. But I was worried that it wasn't sanitary the entire time I sat in the chair.
And for the good reviews that are genuine, maybe people are okay with this type of service. But I am not. Not when I'm paying $45 for a gel pedicure.
