  • I have a mother who is new to getting manicures and she needed to find a place on the East side. I checked the Yelp reviews and this spa seemed to have the best reviews for the side of town I was looking for. I booked a pedicure for me and a Mani for Mom on the Saturday before Easter. The wait when we got there was not too long. My staff member was nice and thoughtful. She was very thorough with my nail trim and buffing. I had been long overdue so my toes did hurt the next day but they feel great now...no more ingrown toenails. Several weeks later, my toes still look great. Mom's staff member was very nice to her. Mom's a chatterbox sometimes and the lady took her in stride. The Shellac Gel Manicure looks great. While trimming my mom's cuticles, the lady did nick my mom and caused some bleeding. The woman was very apologetic and did a nail design free of charge. My mom did not have an negative feelings regarding this and has since really enjoyed the color and design. The Shellac has held up very nicely. The Salon Spa itself is nothing fancy but I'm okay with that if the service is good. They take cards but cash is the preferred tender. I can handle that if I know ahead. So, I'm sure we will find ourselves back there again soon.
