rev:text	I have been to La Barberia a couple of times for a few different services. Based on my experiences, I would give La Barberia a 4.5 out of 5 for the great job they did on my hair, and maybe a 1.5 out of 5 for the manicures I have received there. I have had my hair cut and styled there about 6 times by two different stylists and I was pleased with the cut each time. Both of the stylists I worked with were very professional and helpful. Every time I left the salon after my haircut, I was so appreciative of the time and attention the stylists had given me, and that my haircut was exactly what I wanted and what looked good on me. As a result, La Barberia was the salon I always went to when I was a college student living away from home. Their student discounts for haircuts are also much appreciated. I've had my nails done a few times there as well and that was a decidedly less positive experience. All of the times except for one, the manicurists talked very loudly amongst themselves about their boyfriends, their plans for going out after work, etc. After our manicures, my friends and I left feeling somewhat annoyed that we had been unable to converse with each other and enjoy our time together because the stylist would not stop talking about their plans to go out for wings after work. Another time, the same kinds of conversations were happening, and in addition, the stylist cut my cuticle so badly that it was bleeding because she was too immersed in her conversation with her friend to pay attention. Needless to say, I will not be returning for a manicure, although I still recommend La Barberia to friends and family who are in the area and need a good place to have their hair cut, colored, or styled.
