  • We heard about the Parador through a friend who has stayed there in the past. What a great referral! The house is absolutely gorgeous and makes you feel right at home from the first moments you walk in and hear tropical themed music playing while gazing at the beautiful murals with hidden birds and monkeys. Ed was a gracious host who does a great job accomadating your every need AND he makes a mean quiche! Our room was the Lady Palm all the way upstairs on the top floor.....WOW....it had a huge living room with a fireplace, daybed, fridge, tv, and desk and an even larger bedroom with a sitting area. The bed itself has an awesome headboard made out of a built in dresser and the there are some beautiful armoires in the hall and bedroom. We loved the place and plan on making another trip when the weather is warmer so we can explore more of the city which from the Parador you can walk a few blocks and have access to the casino, stadium, restaurants and bars. Great place, great host, we will be back again.
