Today, 2/15/18 I walked into this particular Coffee Bean at approx 9am. I found myself waiting in line for no apparent reason. I realize that things happen which is no big deal but a small inconvenience. This inconvenience grew as I stood in line while the cashier/barista decided to have and continue to have a pointless conversation about the various Coffee Beans in Las Vegas... How nice...? What's not nice is that I can't even get timely service.
After some time the customers' son (approx 9 yrs old) came up to tell his dad about the inconvenience. Why is a 9 yr old showing more common courtesy and awareness than the cashier and customer? The cashier was nice/warm to me after the inconvenient conversation had passed. A warm welcome wasn't the issue. Time and place was the issue.
I've come to this coffee shop for approx 20 business meetings and another 15 personal visits. If I wrote a review for all approx 35 visits the rating would be a hard 2.5... this review was long over due which is why this review reflects a soft 1 Star. I'll discontinue my visits to this franchise and begin spending my time and money at the Starbucks on Eastern and Coronado Center in which I urge you to do the same for better service. Those cashiers and baristas have not only been warm but also attentive and timely. If you find yourself going to this coffee shop than I say good luck on your time and money. By the way the cliff bar I bought was almost $5! What a rip off!
