  • I now have this new habit of trying out at least one local coffee shop whenever I travel to a new city and Lola Coffee was one of the top Yelp search results near the downtown Phoenix area. Later I learned that there is actually another Lola Coffee located in Terminal 4 of the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Overall this is a small (enough to fit about 25+ customers inside the cafe) and cozy coffee shop with free WiFi and multiple wall outlets. It was a bit crowded when our group got during the weekend, but there were few tables still available. A bag of coffee beans is $14 per lb and the drink menu also has other non-coffee drinks such as fresh OJ, lemonade, and hot chocolate. *** Matador (cinnamon-spiced mocha - $4): It had an unique aftertaste with pretty smooth finish. The drink was slightly sweeter than I would prefer, but it was a pretty decent drink. *** It is no Philz Coffee, but I was pretty happy with my drink and I am a fan of this coffee shop. P.S. - Please watch the step at the front entrance.
