I love Mario Batali's restaurants so I was excited to try this place out. It did not disappoint. Being the pasta fiend, we ordered 4 pasta dishes to share instead of any appetizers or entrees. It was hard to pick since there were about 15 different pasta dishes that all sounded awesome. I really loved the mint love letters - very different from what you would typically see at any normal Italian joint. The best way to describe it would be a ravioli filled with mint pesto. It was fantastic. The other dish that was very original and I can't totally recommend it is the squid ink pasta. It was super tasty but it was hotter than hell. I could not believe you could get food this hot at an Italian restaurant. And this coming from a girl who loves spicy food and has eaten thai chilli peppers raw and unadorned means it was fiercely spicy. Funny because the waiter warned us but usually when people say that its still not spicy for me. Boy was I wrong.
Great wine list also. Mario always puts on a nice spread for his guests.
