The first thing I noticed walking into the restaurant was the smell of disinfectant. I like a clean restaurant as much as the next person but don't particularly like the scent of harsh cleaner.
Luckily the food smelled better!
The chips and salsa arrived quickly. The chips were fresh, corn and not salty (which I have to avoid). The salsa was also fresh and had a light bite.
I ordered the single grilled chicken quesadilla with a side salad which was a right sized meal, no leftovers. The salad, oddly enough, had no dressing, but I was able to make do with leftover salsa.
The quesadilla had almost too much melted queso (not too much if you love cheese).
I had a regular sized lime margarita (no salt) which was on the watery side.
My son had chori pollo which he enjoyed quite a bit.
Overall, there were enough positives , combined with a low bill, that we decided we would return and try again.
