  • If you are coming to Toronto for a conference at the Convention Centre, then this is the best hotel for you! It is attached through the lobby to the convention entrance - super convenient. There are also a million cabbies waiting to take you where you need to go. Standard expected rates for location of property (convention centre, ball park, business area). Extra charge for internet access, and the entire hotel is equipped with wi-fi. Decent room service food (try the fries! or the brittle sundae). Service desks and concierge are a little slow (or over-worked) so arrive accordingly if you are in a time crunch. Overall staff are very friendly and courteous. Rooms are well appointed (unless you're on the smoker's floor, those rooms are a bit run down, with tube televisions and old furniture). Nice views on the Lake side, but the city side views are just so-so. Limited event space on the lower lobby level.
