  • Solid first visit, but they have a lot of room for improvement. Like Stephanie, I also read about Ever Fresh via insauga. Parking is easy, but not obvious. There's a retail parking lot that is accessible on Port St or Lakeshore just west of Hurontario. The shop itself is visible from Lakeshore Road, but is tucked in from the street a little bit to create a nice public area filled with tables and green space. Customers should find this very convenient in the upcoming summer months. Inside the shop itself, there aren't that many tables, but they're set up in a way that they're easily movable to accommodate for larger/smaller groups. This isn't really a big enough shop to be a sit down and order kind of place - we just walked up to the cashier and ordered from the menu behind the counter. The countertop was definitely too high, as I'm nearly 6 feet tall and nearly needed to stand on my toes to look down on it. Upon attempting to order I got my first indication that they hadn't gotten everything entirely figured out yet. Their item availability was extremely limited. They didn't even have taro milk tea, or any milk tea base for that matter. They didn't even have tapioca! Unless you're a fan of smoothies or green tea bases (I'm not), you'd almost assuredly be trying something totally new. Luckily, that wasn't a problem for me. I tried one of their specials upon the cashier's recommendation - the Roasted Sencha Milk Tea, with aiyu jelly (chewiest thing ever). It was pretty good. They give you ice and sugar level options just like every other tea shop out there. With half sugar, it was a solid alternative to my standard order of milk tea with pearls. Regarding service, there really wasn't much at all. My only interaction with the staff was ordering and paying. It seemed like there were only 2 people working as well. For a first visit, it was good. I knew they were new, so I'll let the kinks slide for now, but customers that didn't know this may be a little put off by their lack of preparedness in terms of ingredients. Hopefully things improve for them soon, so I can visit again and hopefully update this review to a 4 or 5 star rating, because the drink itself was delicious.
