We went to see the Phoenix Symphony Orchestra perform the music of Led Zeppelin. I had been anticipating this show for many months and was slightly disappointed. Mostly, it was good. The orchestra was on point. The venue was small but I liked that. The music sounded great and lines weren't too long. What I was disappointed in was that this venue seemed poorly managed. The website I checked before going stated that no "lage" purses were allowed. This typo caused confusion for me. I thought it was a type of purse until my husband explained to me it was a typo; no purses bigger than 12 x 12. The website also stated no blankets were allowed in so I left mine at home. However, I saw LOTS of blankets that were let in that people were using. That really bummed me out. Is it really a policy if you're not going to enforce it? We got in line for a pretzel and beer before the show started and they had ran out of pretzels before the show even started!!! :-( I feel that most of these issues are poor management on the venue's part. Parking was a breeze so they have that going for them. They need to step it up in other areas, however.
