STONEGATE WEST on S. Nellis (across street from Stonegate)
I lived there 2 years. The washer flooded half the apartment 3 days after I moved in and they never fixed the problem. They also failed to properly fix the carpet and we were left stepping on exposed edging around the doorways. The dryer knob broke off and they replaced it with an OLD knob off a machine that was not compatible at all so it only worked on one setting after that. Garbage disposal broke and they showed up 3 months later (I had already fixed it myself), then again 6 months after that because apparently they are terrible at properly documenting anything.
It took weeks to fix the bathroom ceiling after an upstairs water leak caused the vent fan to short out and mold to develop.
The a/c never worked until the week before I finally gave up and moved out - we had multiple multiple multiple MULTIPLE service calls and every guy except the last one said that's just how it was ... HOT. Not to forget the air ducts were DISGUSTING and caused extreme allergy issues. It took a year and multiple service calls before they even put a filter on it.
Smoke would filter down through the laundry closet from the upstairs apartment.
The footsteps and noise from above were atrocious and actually increased with each change in tenant. The screen doors wouldn't lock properly and the glass sliding door only locked under extreme force, often leaving the apartment unsecured in a community where they allowed criminals to live beside families. The front door peephole was painted over so you couldn't use it ... but then again the door frame wasn't sealed so you could see who was there anyway.
The "security" patrol was a joke and was rarely seen anywhere except by the office. The entrance gates were never working the entire 2 years I was there.
After all this - the breaking point came when they allowed 10 people to move into an upstairs apartment with only one person on the lease. One of which had an ankle tracking bracelet which tells you the kind of people they were. The second day they were there beer was being dropped like waterfall down on my patio and dropping random $#^& down on us never let up over the next 2 months - toys clothes food trash cigarettes beer broken shards of glass etc. The noise level was literally headache inducing and started at 7am and wouldn't let up until 1-3am DAILY. Not to mention the steady stream of family and friends in and out up and down the stairs, lounging against our vehicles like it was their own personal couch, the unattended children shrieking non stop, and the ghetto chics fist fighting at night.
To top it all off, they refused to give me back my deposit claiming I hadn't paid them enough to break my lease 2 months early because I could no longer live under these conditions...even though I paid them exactly what I owed for the remainder of the lease and exactly what their finance person in the office told me to pay as it is written by HER on my final paperwork and after speaking with the office staff and the PROPERTY MANAGER multiple times about the horrific conditions they placed us in with the upstairs terrorists.
The only half way good thing that came out of it was the second hand high from the all the pot smoking, drug dealing neighbors.
