  • There are not enough good things that I can say about this wedding venue. Everything about them was A+. We planned our wedding long distance from Salt Lake City, which was stressful enough on it's own. But having a vendor that was as all inclusive as it was made the stress level significantly less. I worked with both Kristin and Christi, who are worth their weight in gold, to plan my wedding and I couldn't be happier with their services. Any time I called with a question, they were polite and understanding and talked me through the process with the patience of a saint. I was absolutely floored by how attentive, kind and professional Alexander Homestead was with every step of the wedding process. AH was wonderful in taking care of the smaller details, too. We had our rehearsal 2pm the day before the wedding and dropped off all the DIY decor that the venue didn't already have - seating chart, cake topper, lavender for the toss, pictures, rock candy... I left it with Kristin, and by the time of my wedding at 6pm the following night, the barn looked FLAWLESS. The babies breathe in the centerpieces, the raffia bows, the moss and natural stones. It looked like something from a bridal magazine and I really couldn't believe they had understood what I was hoping for so perfectly. The day of, Kristin was the most attentive I'd ever seen. Whenever I started feeling anxious, she magically appeared with a reassuring smile to let me know that it would be all right. If I noticed that something was off -- like family wasn't sitting in a reserved row (which in turn left a full empty row) she was on it immediately. During the reception, she had our food set up for us from the buffet immediately so we didn't even need to get up or leave. Similarly, she grabbed meals for my 90 year old grandparents so they could also avoid the kerfuffle. I never had an empty water glass all night, nor did I have to worry about finer details of the schedule like when to cut the cake, when to do a garter toss or when to get ready with the grand exit. When our officiant was late to the ceremony and delayed everything by 30 minutes (food, photographs, DJ, shuttles) she took care of it. Even though we'd only booked the venue through 11pm, she coordinated with everyone to make up the time so we could enjoy the full time of dancing, dining and celebration. Alexander Homestead -- Christi, Kristin and the staff -- even gave us a wedding gift. I'm really excited to delve into it when I get the chance, but I don't want to leave what it is in my review in case other people decide to book! I am beyond ecstatic on how incredibly and professional this venue has been, and my only regret is that I'm not sure how to do business with them in the future since I'm already married.
