  • Came out to see the Sunday Comedy show - only to find out it was called off for a few weeks. Too bad they couldn't be bothered to tell the local entertainment guides they were cancelling it. So we were there, and decided to have a drink and watch the end of the hockey game. They had specials - 4 kinds of cheap pisswater drafts, and caesars. Needless to say, we had the caesars - which weren't bad for under $5. They also had food specials: samosas, pierogis, and wings. I'd have the wings again, they were good, at a great price. The pierogis weren't. The samosas were not bad, but bland and a bit dry. When I asked if the samosas were supposed to come with a sauce, the waitress pointed out the sour cream on the table. I said I thought that was for peirogis. She asked what kind of sauce I was looking for (bad sign), so I asked for chutney or tamarind, perhaps? No such luck. All in all, a less than satisfactory experience. The Flames even lost.
