| - Where in the world do you go when you need something (an ingredient, or a food item) that you wouldn't find at your average grocery store? Lee Lee has it all!!!
I went here for the first time last night -- didn't even know it existed until last night -- and was completely blown away. Lee Lee really has it all! They have everything from Korean, Taiwanese, Latin America, even some items from Hawaii. I was probably here for 2-3 hours just walking up and down the isles looking at everything. I love seeing food and drink items from other countries; so intriguing -- although I didn't know how one would eat a lot of the items. Still neat to see everything though. (I wish they had Kona Coffee, made by Royal Mills -- it's so absolutely delish!!) They even have dishes and silverware, and I got myself a nice broom... yes, random, but hey they literally have everything.
I really liked the selection of fresh seafood they had (smells like you're in a fresh fish market, though, but that's how you know it's the freshest of the fresh), and also the butcher area with all the fresh meats.
The store itself is very well laid out, and super clean. Everything is exactly where it should be, and well organized. The staff is extremely knowledgeable as well, and very friendly, so if you are having a hard time finding something, just ask!
I wish Lee Lee International Supermarket wasn't so far from me... I really was impressed with the quality of their products as well as the store itself. Oh, and apparently they make fresh Taiwanese pastries on Saturday mornings. I know where I'll be tomorrow morning... just sayin'.
