I went to Peoria Subaru to get a trade in value for my car and to inquire about a used Jeep they had. The experience was uncomfortable at best. Although they offered me a fair trade-in value for my vehicle, they seemed to have no intention of showing me a used car. The sales associate was not personable. He suggested the best option for me was to buy a new car due to my negative equity. He (talking almost too fast to comprehend) said I should buy the new version of the used car I wanted stating I could get a new one for the same price as a used one due to all his great discounts but quickly segwayed into all my other options of buying new Subaru's as the gentleman did not have new Jeeps to sell to begin with. It's a Subaru dealership! I told him I may come back on my next day off. He proceeded to say they didn't close for two hours and I could just get this done tonight, but feel free to come back on sunday. I felt rushed and anxious due to his rant about finance numbers and I hadn't even looked at a car yet. I highly doubt I'll go back.
