This place is fine when you are talking about product quality, and variety and cost. They have a good selection of stuff and the shelves are packed. But WOW their idea of customer service, well I don't think they even know what that means. I walk in.... I try to grab a cart.... nope, none, nada zip. The place wasn't that busy. One worker mumbled he would go get some. But I gave up and walked ALLLLL the way to the out and found one outside.
Then i needed tube lighting for the garage. That took forever. There seems to be little rhyme or reason. GOD FORBID someone ask to help you. Then off to other things. I am not kidding every isle I wanted to go down, they were closing. They just look at you like you are less important than monkey crap. I gave up waiting on the lock isle. I needed a large cable and lock. I guess I will go to Lowes for that.
Then you get checkout. There is seldom a lane with a real live person... if there is it is a lonnng line. So off to self checkout. It is ok if all you have is like a few boxed items. But when you get to bolts and screws and things sold by the foot...... good luck to you! Today there was one lady standing there. She looked super bored and like she wanted to go home.
So in general, sure go here if you HAVE to. But be prepared for a long frustrating experience. I wish the Home Office would talk to In and Out or Chick-fil-a. These are companies who CARE about their customers. Their employees at least PRETEND to like their jobs (and I have hear MANY actually do!). Home Depot sets a pretty low standard of caring, it really is sad.
