  • My go-to shoes are my black & white checkered Vans. I've owned 2 pairs in 4 years. They last a long time! My first pair was turned into my working shoes because 1 of my dogs chewed on it a little. If that hadn't happened I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have had to buy a new pair yet. The guys working here are pretty cool. They look like they shop here, or at least in similar stores. 1 of them was pretty tall with plugs in his ears. They were decently attentive too. I wanted to try on a pair of shoes & caught the eye of an associate from across the store. He was right over to help me. I guess things have changed since the last time I tried on shoes. They've put womens sizes in the shoes now. I got a little bit of a funny look when I said "Guy's 6". Oh well, I knew they'd fit. So, I walked out of there with an all black pair of brand new Vans for $45 after tax. I'm happy :D & I know I'll be back.
