In my opinion this is a terrible hospital! The staff was very rude and didn't treat me with any empathy and compassion. They acted as though they didn't care and just tended to me when they felt like. They didn't give me any pain meds after having major surgery here. They only provided Tylenol or ibuprofen. The doc told me would be in a lot of pain after and would treat it with Iv meds but afterwards they told me they didn't think I needed it and didn't look as though I was in enough pain to give it to me. They treated me as if they could care less. It seemed all they cared about was their quota on sending me home quicker and without pain meds despite my and my family's verbally telling them otherwise. If they think they seemingly can do invasive treatments and procedure on people (including removing organs) WITHOUT issuing pain meds then Wth?! We're not robots, we're human beings! We bleed! The human body will never come to a point where you can do your testing and surgical procedures without causing the body pain. Get it Mayo? Are we in a new age that if anyone asks for pain meds then it's their job to be the judge of who's a junkie and who's not. Like they took a class at medical school to be able to judge someone based off looking at them if they are truly in pain or not. Well, I just had surgery there that required several overnight stays. The surgeons and nurses wouldn't give me pain meds. Literally told me I didn't LOOK like I was in pain!! I hope karma kicks their assess!
