We were excited to meet with a representative of the company to handle an estate sale for us. She seemed very professional, quite knowledgable, answered all our questions, even talking with the owner (who was out of town) to confirm certain questions we had. We agreed to hire Fidelity and signed a contract on the spot, which was a Monday. We were told the owner wouldn't be back until Friday at which time he would countersign the agreement and it would be sent to us via e-mail. Ten days later I still hadn't heard anything and called the office where I spoke with the person we originally met with. She apologized and said the owner had extended his business trip and just got back the night before and she would talk with him that day and get the contract to us. I was annoyed because I thought she could have called us several days earlier to let us know rather than just leave us hanging. She did finally send the contract by e-mail at 10 PM that evening. However she now wanted to change several things from what we had originally agreed upon. It seemed to us a bit of 'bait and switch.' They may be great for auctions but our experience was not good. We cancelled the contract.
