  • Got Cookson's number from Chamberlin Liftmaster as a local retailer who could sell me the part I needed (logic board for a 14 year old garage door opener). Actually got two numbers. The first company quoted me $150 for the part and then proceeded to tell me why it was "smarter" to just get a new system from them for $280. Called Cookson's and they quickly confirmed the part I needed, said they had some in stock and quoted me $85. This matched the price I had expected after looking online. Got stuck in traffic on the way over there and called them to let them know I would probably be arriving just before they closed. They were soooo kind. Pulled the part for me. It was waiting at the front desk when I got there (at 4 minutes before they closed). They even offered me a bottled water when I walked in!! Seriously....4 minutes before closing. They told me to call if I had any trouble installing and they'd walk me through it. Got home, replaced the part and can now finally open my garage door using my remote. Thank you Cookson for your FANTASTIC customer service. Truly appreciated.
