  • I had to get my first root canal and was so nervous after hearing how painful they are. I woke that morning with clammy hands all day. I went to Dr. Shipp and he was awesome! I was numbed up first and they tested my tooth with a cold swab, and felt nothing. After, he began the drilling he said anytime I feel anything let him know. Half way through I felt a jolt in my tooth and he immediately stopped and put some more numbing medicine in my tooth and waiting for it to kick in. After that, I didn't experience any pain. The whole process took about 45 min from the time I sat in the chair to the time I was out the door. The office is super clean and the staff is so friendly and calming. I am recommending everyone I know to Dr. Shipp's office.
