Went here last night while visiting Charlotte with my girl. We ate at 8:30 on a Tuesday and we were the only table in the restaurant.
Friendly, prompt service and the food was really excellent. We had the deviled eggs, which the chef made with purple carrots, pesto and horseradish/paprika and they were amazing.
With the deviled eggs, they brought a lamb ragout with papardelle which was thoughtful and delicious. We loved it. My only wish was that the portion was bigger, given the $16 tag on it.
Next we had their scallop dish ("large size was $34 and had 6 perfectly cooked scallops). This dish was very thoughtful and we both enjoyed it.
With the scallops, we chose 3 sides ($20 total). We had the BruSSels sprouts, risotto, and mashies. The sprouts were spicy and roasted perfectly. The risotto had some nice acidity and chopped hazelnuts that made for a nice contrasting texture. The mashed potatoes were also tasty.
Overall, the experience was excellent. Kudos to the chef. Everything we ate was thoughtful and delicious.
