  • This review is specifically for our last visit to Farren's. Not normally the type to review restaurants, but this particular experience was disappointing especially because I actually really enjoyed this place in the past. As mentioned, we've eaten here multiple times and have always thoroughly enjoyed it. We come for the burgers and they definitely satisfy that craving. The service in our previous visits has been great. Even when they are in the dinner rush, the servers we've had in the past were very attentive. I've been here as a party of two and as a party of eight, and both times, they did not disappoint. I say all that to preface the disappointment of the most recent visit when we came in around 6 pm as the dinner rush was just starting. We were seated, got our waters, got our orders taken, and that was the end of our service. For 45 minutes we waited to get our food or at least some kind of update as to why there might be a delay. I realize 45 minutes isn't exactly forever, but it's definitely a long time for Farren's in my experience. Even when we came for dinner with a party of 8, I don't think we waited more than 30 minutes. And even then, the server we had was letting us know how much more time we could expect to wait and was making sure drinks were taken care of. We didn't get that this time. We got a server we've never had before, and we just noticed as he served and brought food to all the tables that came in after us. After the 45 minutes, we were convinced our order had been forgotten so we left. It just sucks because again, we were definitely fans of this place.
