I just found out on my credit card statement that I cancelled this gym but they kept charging my card. The manager Kimberly Hillen mentioned on an email that Jason, a rep who is doing some side deals behind the company charged us the wrong price. Now we have to pay more and we are responsible for this screw up. I am not sure who he is. We signed up with Dennis Parker and we told the manager. But she told us he is also doing some side deals and is no longer working with the company. She was also very rude to us and talked down to us. We tried to cancel with the company several times and even went down to meet with another manager Rosie Hollingsworth (because Kimberly Hillen don't work there anymore) . She was actually nice, but told my husband she cannot do anything for us and referred us to Steve Lubarsky, Vice President West Coast Operations for Meridian Sports Clubs and David Barton Gym.
We gave them all the credit card statements and proof that we had tried several times to cancel our gym membership. He said he would look at our paper work and get back to us the next day. That was January 13, 2017 and we haven't heard from him since. I guess he is not working there anymore too. Just beware of this company! I had to cancel my credit card so I don't get charged by them anymore.
