I still love Dr. Day!
Couple weeks ago I noticed Copper had been losing his appetite. For a few days I was able to force feed him, but then one morning he wouldn't even look at his food. I took him to Dr. Day who checked him out. He felt around and did a stool sample and didn't see anything wrong and told me it was probably the heat getting to him, but told me to bring him back if after a couple days I felt like there was something else going on, and that he'd run more tests (he didn't find it necessary to run further tests that day and rack up my bill).
A day or two later Copper had gotten worse (still not eating, and now diarrhea). I brought him back in and he did another stool sample, this time he had an infection. The first time I brought him in he was in the sort of "grace period" where his stool wasn't showing anything wrong, I guess. Anyway, what was nice was that I wasn't charged for the second checkup or the stool tests, I just had to pay for the antibiotics.
