Went in with my parents to buy a car. Was told that the 2017 Honda Civic we were buying was a whopping $12 above their cost.
I felt insulted. You mean to tell me that you took a week of your time calling my parents to sell them something for a $12 profit? You must be desperate, stupid or lying through your teeth at that point, and nobody admits to being desperate or a liar.
Needless to say, we left without a new car and with our dignity in tact. I'd pay $500 more not to deal with a liar than to bend to the whif of Roadsport Hondas stink (Alan Wong was the reps name in case you want to know).
