What a beautiful place to spend the afternoon! I could lounge here everyday if I could find the time. Surprisingly busy - even on a weekday afternoon - I would recommend to give yourself a few hours here as you will most likely be put on a wait list.
The food here is decent - the Shaved PrimeRib French Dip ($24) came with a choice of side salad or fries. We chose the fries which were nicely seasoned and crispy. The Garlic Aioli Mayo which came with the fries was very tasty. As for the French Dip itself, I liked that the thinly shaved prime rib with Swiss Cheese was already seasoned and had a nice tangy flavour and you probably won't need to add much jus. The roll was also fresh and toasted. For the price though, I would say you'd be better off eating somewhere else and just dropping by for tea.
Tea service here is $6.50 and comes with your choice of premium tea in a cute little teapot.
