  • A coworker told me about Brewpublik and I thought "wow, what a great idea!" So, I gave it a shot. I signed up for the "Premium" membership - 24 bottles of top shelf beer. The process of getting signed up was cumbersome - website didn't work properly and then the mobile site wasn't working. But one of the owners called me and helped me get registered. Very nice touch. In the 10 days that followed there was some confusion as to how it all worked and it was not clear. I chalk it up to growing pains. But again, one of the owners called me and got me going and my first crate arrived just moments ago. Before I continue, I think this is a really good idea and I believe these guys will do well. But, they gotta work out some kinks. Now on to my first crate. See the 3 pics. My wife received it so I wasn't able to chat with the delivery guy until he was driving away. The positive - some really neat beers. The negatives.... The program leads you to believe you will get 24 different beers with the premium membership. I actually got 10 bottles - due to all the bombers but due to duplicates, I only got 5 different beers. At $90, that's just not enough benefit / variety. Also, in my profile I stated that Porters and Browns were my favorites and also liked stouts. I got no Porters or Browns... all stouts. I'm sure they will be good but I was really looking forward to a "bullseye" selection. Again, I think these guys will get better. But for now, I'm not sure this program makes sense for me. The support you get from the ownership team is pretty amazing.
