| - So an update to this, this, so called Director thinks I bashed his hard working staff! LOL here's his little comment to me.
2/27/2018 "I am sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your experience. I will be the first to admit that yesterday afternoon/night was unbelievably busy and some of our wait times were longer than usual. We are constantly using feedback to try to improve and provide the best quality care in a timely manner. While I admit that we had some difficulties last night, I want to also point out that presenting two patients (one for an exam and one for euthanasia) and insisting on separate rooms makes it tough for us to accommodate you as quickly as you would have liked. This combined with the fact that you came in without an appointment at one of the busiest times of the day and at a point when we had multiple emergencies created a perfect storm that wrecked any chance we had at meeting your expectations. That being said, we will keep working to accomplish the impossible. I am sorry to hear that you will be looking for another clinic, but if you do have any other concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me I may be able give you better results than going on the internet and saying mean things about hard working staff members that are doing nothing more than trying to help you during a difficult time".
If you think for one second what I said was mean, your a joke of a Director and now I will say this as I said before in my last comment. Dr. Gale was awesome, your Kennel Attendant was awesome, but you want to claim I am saying mean things when you had just two receptionists at the desk on a busy day, is it my problem Durango Animal Hospital claims we accept walk ins when I directly called that same day to ensure I wouldn't a be a burden. So here's saying mean things! Your receptionists need more training or you should be ashamed of not having adequate staffing levels to ensure your staff are taken care of, some of your staff claimed there is no such thing as mange! Interesting enough saying mean things about staff hmmmm interesting, nothing here on YELP is mean, this is what yelp is for!
I bet you didn't even realize I defended your staff that same night when a RN Nurse came in and disrespected your staff despite me alone putting my moms dog down! The woman came in with a fast attitude claiming what I have to wait and she said no just make sure my animal is ready by tomorrow good bye! I chimed in and told her off and said we all in this area are patiently waiting, then that's when she said well I am a RN Nurse, and I said I am a Law Enforcement Officer, no excuse mame!
Before you jump on here and start something with me being honest and upfront about your Animal Hospital I would start with calling me first and asking what took place. Your rooms were dirty, the bathroom was filthy, the staff apparently seemed overwhelmed and even forgot the dogs medicine after I paid for everything. I also have pictures of your rooms, I didn't complain before, but might as well now since you claim I am being mean lol. I work in a fast paced environment everyday and all I said was your staff were running around like chickens with there heads cut off and forgetting things, bills, medicine, and giving me my I.D back, you have a camera check for for yourself.
By the way, if you cannot accept walk ins just say it over the phone. For example, just say we can't today, but some times we can, but when it's busy anyone would understand. I also understand you had emergencies, I am not blind, I saw first hand. Again with ending this, Gale was top notch, you sir should recognize her! Also if you think me complaining on here is bad for your business, then maybe you should try picking up a phone and getting to know your clients or speaking with those who enter your Hospital, because that's how you get straight answers.
No where on here was I being disrespectful, the only one who is coming off rude is you and you claim to be the Director, well read those reviews. I am a patient person, but not one of your staff came out and attempted to gain anyone's attention to state as a professional courtesy, please be patient we sincerely apologize for the long wait or attempt to focus on one person at a time to work the problem out, but you claim I'm rude, but no bother calling me or my family to find out what happened.
Now today, Sunday, March, 3rd, 2018, at approximately 1:00 p.m. My mom after complaining about what took place, the Doctor finally did the ok for the German Shepherd to get a cone, so she doesn't lick the medicine off, and guess what the cone was the wrong size, but no we did not disrespect the staff or be rude, but yet I'm mean, a free cone, but wrong size, yeah I rather go elsewhere. Oh before you claim we are mean or me, you need to check yourself and your facts before making funny remarks like I'm mean, no sir get it right, I am customer and customers can be right and wrong at times!
