BEWARE! Waypoint Homes (ESPECIALLY THEIR PHOENIX OFFICE) DOES NOT care about the tenantswho rent their properties.
I have been communicating with both the corporate and Phoenix offices for months about the swimming pool on the property. For months, the pool was unusable due to sand and dirt (blow back from a faulty filter unit). It has taken months for Waypoint to finally replace the filter unit.
As of 11/6/17, I requested reimbursement for fees paid for the pool. I received no response. As of 11/26/17, I submitted a follow-up email.
Today, 11/27/17, I received an email from Amy Benzing (Property manager) stating that no reimbursement will be offered because the pool was usable eventhough there was blowback from the filter. I wonder if Ms. Benzing or any other Waypoint employee would feel safe swimming in a dirty pool...? For something, like a swimming pool, to be deemed usable, shouldn't health risks be taken into consideration? This response from the property manager is totally unacceptable.
If you are considering renting a Waypoint-owned (now merging with Invitation Homes), BEWARE! They are only concerned with receiving your rent payments.
