  • OdySea is an amazing place to take the children. There is a wide variety of fish from river fish to deep ocean sharks. They even have a sloth. The venue is always changing. Every time we visit there is something new. Did I mention indoor and air conditioning? AZ is friggin hot, it's nice to have such a wonderful place to go to escape the heat. My favorite part of the experience was what they call the Living Sea Carousel. It's a theater that rotates through different underwater exhibits. We saw sea turtles, sea lions and a seal, a ton of really cool fish and sharks. This is one part you don't want to miss. All the staff was well groomed and kind. I learned a lot in the otter talk. Those guys are so cute and entertaining. The last part of course is exiting through the gift shop. LOL funny thing is the items they have are so adorable you can't leave empty handed. My kids can't wait to get to the gift shop at the end. The other cool thing about OdySea is that it's not only an Aquarium. They also have shops and restaurants just outside the Aquarium entrance. We had ice cream sandwiches for a snack and then listened to some music in the courtyard. I think this place will be great also in the cooler months as the courtyard is really nice, especially with the live music. I am very excited to have this wonderful place just a couple of miles from where we live. What a treat!!!
