I had a UPS package to ship, but the pre-paid label was in my email and my printer was out of ink at home. Thought the UPS store might be able to print the UPS label for me if I emailed them. Or enter the shipping number in the machine and print it out. Nope.
1st time: annoyed girl: "our PC is down so you can't print anything here", resumes chatting to coworker/friend in back
2nd time (2 days later, I wasn't in a huge rush): nicer lady: "we can't print it for you, you have to rent our computer which has a minimum charge of $2/10min, and each page you print is $0.25"
Charging people for internet is archaic in this day and age - especially for a biz like this. Guess I'll wait until my printer ink gets delivered. FYI - most office supply stores will happily print something you email them and just charge you for printing.
