Well, it's true what they say - the employees are on commission and can be a bit pushy - but you're a big boy/girl and can handle saying no, right?
Look past this and it's a great experience. The salon is the cleanest I've been to in Toronto and the beds are great. They have great satellite radio stations which makes this tanning salon feel more like a nightclub. It definitely gives it a young downtown vibe. I find the staff quite knowledgeable and won't put you in the bed for longer than you should be going in for. They've even told me on a number of occasions - "no, that's too long for you, sweetie."
I've tried all of the beds in here and they are all really great. I stick with level 3 because I am on a budget and I think it's great. It's 39.95 + hst per month on an unlimited membership. There is a minimum sign up of 3 months. This gives you unlimited tanning, free upgrades to other beds, points that you can redeem for different prizes, and so on.
I feel I get my money's worth more than any salon I've been to in the past.
The Good:
1. Clean. This is of high importance when looking for a tan salon.
2. Quality. Tan quality, and overall quality of the salon is top notch.
The Bad:
1. Commission. Commission based staff so obviously they will try to sell you things.
Recommendation: check out this salon! If you're worried about the commission, just tell them you are uninterested in products and upgrades!
