We have dined here a couple times before but last night was the first time we had sat on the kitchen side of the restaurant. I love that it's open yet glassed in keeping the usual kitchen noise out of the dining room. However, the chairs are atrocious! So uncomfortable and the bench seating is so warm and inviting that I think they don't really work together. New seats in the beautiful spacious dining room would make us want to stay and enjoy after dinner drinks and dessert. Just a thought. Megan was our server and she was very attentive and friendly. I only give three stars because I really felt my dish was just okay and the portions for the price on both entrees was a bit steep. I had the pan seared sea bass and got a not so tasty couple of clams that had me steer clear of the rest and the link style sliced chorizo was hard on texture and left a gamey after taste. I liked the fish itself but a 4 to 6 oz piece of fish being really all I ate left me a bit hungry. My boyfriend had the spaghetti with spicy crab. It was pretty good but the portion could use improvement. We have enjoyed central on previous occasions so we will be back.
