The service is great but it is a really small salon and they don't necessarily do everything a bigger salon would do. I went for a shellac manicure as my nails were getting super long from my previous manicure. I had to keep my fingers dipped in a solution to get the shellac off which was causing my fingers to get really itchy and uncomfortable. Other salons usually wrap your fingers in tin foil and cotton balls and takes about 5 mins. I was sitting in this solution for about 15 minutes or more.
They don't have a wide variety of colours for shellac but I did find the colour I was looking for. However, the shellac did get bubbly and she had to fix it numerous times and even when I was completely finished it did not look like shellac I had in the past. Fast forward 3 weeks and my shellac has already started to chip and my nails are breaking. The manicure I had before had still looked immaculate, the only issue was my nails were getting too long.
I don't blame the lady who did my nails as she was super friendly and I enjoyed having her do my nails. I think it's just the establishment as a whole. This salon is on my walk home but I don't think I'd ever go back.
