  • This is a cute little coffee shop, different from both 61B and Biddles Escape. We were really taken by how lovely it was inside. I had a black drip coffee and my husband had a Mexican Mocha. His mocha was amazing! I didn't read any reviews before I visited this place, but I wasn't surprised to see people saying they were put off by the owner. He was a friendly enough guy, but he kept talking to us while we were trying to enjoy our coffee. I don't mind friendly banter with restaurant staff, but my husband would be in the middle of saying something to me, and he would interrupt and ask us a random question. One example: "You work in business?" He says to my husband ... who is wearing a faded out Excite Bike shirt and cargo shorts. It was also a kind of one sided conversation.... He said he's been there 7 months and business isn't going well. Just kind of a sad story while we were trying to enjoy a day off together. I think it wouldn't be so bad if there were more people in there to keep him busy, but as it was, it was a little awkward.
