| - After seeing Antney's pop up on several "Best Ice Cream in Pittsburgh" lists, I figured it was high time to see what all of the fuss was about.
This place isn't exactly around the corner from me, but whooaaaa boy....it is worth the drive. Trust me.
They hand make all of their ice cream, and the proof is in the pudding (err....ice cream). This ice cream is what all ice creams should aspire to be -- silky, rich, creamy, and bursting with real flavor. They have a rotating list of flavors that apparently changes often.
When we visited, my hubby and I each got 2 generous scoops and between us tried the hazelnut Nutella, honey cinnamon, fresh mint (and they weren't kidding with this one....the mint flavor was soooo incredibly fresh!), and cinnamon cookie. We adored all of the flavors and wished our appetites were bigger so that we could've tried more! Guess we have a reason to come back (and come back we shall!) :)
There is limited seating available to the right of the building...but since this place is so popular, it was full when we were there. But no matter -- this ice cream is delicious when eaten standing, sitting, laying, whatever. So just go....go now!
