Very disappointing. I once made an appointment with Dr. Reed- planning to make her my new doctor. I asked for an appointment that wouldn't require an extended waiting period for the Dr. to see me. I have 2 jobs and an insane schedule. She set me up to be the Dr's first appointment either in the morning or after lunch - I can't remember which. I had an appointment with a client afterward and had already figured in additional time just in case. I waited a long time just to get into an exam room, and then I could hear the Dr. laughing and joking with the staff down the hall for 20 minutes before she bothered to come into the room all smiles like everything was just peachy. I held my tongue but never went back to her.
I understand that Dr's can run behind when they're actually seeing patients, and a simple "sorry I kept you waiting" can go a long way but this wasn't the case.
Recently, I signed onto the diet program with Dr. Kim. I made special arrangements to start my work day a half hour late on the same given day every week so I could go in for the required appointments. I was assured that I would be his very first appointment of the day. The first 2 times I went, the receptionist said, "Ok, I'll let him know you're here". So he was there. I made it very clear EACH TIME that I had to leave on time or I would be late to visit my first client. He left me waiting both times and strolled in without a word about why. The 3rd and last time I again told the receptionist that I HAD to leave on time and she said he wasn't there yet. I waited until 20 past my appointment time and he hadn't even bothered to show up yet. I returned the diet products and will never go back to that place.
Clearly, they both seem to feel that they are above the rest of us and that our lives and schedules couldn't possibly be as important as theirs.
