  • I wish there was an option to give this company minus zero stars. Steer clear of this company. They were 2 hours late arriving. Did a TERRIBLE job of "cleaning". I got the special move out clean. There was dirt left everywhere, fingerprints on mirrors and glass left, many things not even dusted or touched. Dust all over fireplace and wetbar. Oven not completely cleaned. The bathtub or the shower was not touched in one of the bathrooms. Dust left all over the light fixtures in rooms. Mirrors and patio door window not even touched, left dirty with fingerprints and dirt everywhere. I went to check on them as they said they were just "finishing up" I had to ask them for a rag to clean everything they missed! Just a terrible, disappointing job of "cleaning". Then...they had the nerve to charge my credit card (without my knowledge) for an additional $200 because it "took them longer" to complete the job. They were two hours late! I don't know what they were doing for that "additional time" that they needed to charge me for, without even telling me, but it certainly was not cleaning the house, that's for sure. I would never use Check Maid again, or recommend it to anyone.
