| - I signed up during their pre-sale so the enrolment fee was waived (saved $130) current its $22.61 after tax with a maintenance fee after the first year, and every year after.
This is a great gym for me and has everything I need, has nice machines and they've recently finished their change rooms that have showers and they also installed more Olympic lifting platforms on the lower floor of the gym.
If there was anything that could improve this gym, it would be the plates, and the bars. Some of the plates at this location have a very greasy feel to them, and can also cut you when they're picking them up if you're not paying attention. The bars are not very abrasive and almost feel smooth, this might not be a problem to other people, but it is for me when I do exercises like deadlifts, and bench press. Personally if the bar is not abrasive enough it can be dangerous if the bar slips out of your hand during a bench press, or prohibits a proper lift during a deadlift as it puts too much focus on your forearms. This is really more of a problem as I lift heavier, and I use straps to overcome this problem.
Overall this is a great gym for what you pay for, and is easily comparable to more expensive gyms like GoodLife, aside from the personal problems I've run into during my workouts.
