| - Used the gym for 2 days thanks to a trial pass!
Was given a tour of the entire facility on my first visit and I was impressed by how much of a well oiled machine Lifetime is. From the reps in business attire to the leather chairs, numerous cardio machines, tennis courts, eucalyptus steam room, indoor/outdoor pools etc. Lifetime has everything you could possibly want and more...for a price. Its not that I don't think they're worth a large price tag, I just think they could knock that extra $44 off.
I decided to use the gym at night because I figured out pretty quickly that parents bring their children here thanks to the family locker room, daycare, basketball courts etc. At night it was dead and there were plenty of cardio machines available to use! I tried their newer treadmills w/extra traction, stationary bicycle, sitting elliptical, rower, react trainer. With the exception of the react trainer, everything was fairly user friendly although I did find 1 or 2 machines with buggy software (the machine would track my progress for less than 5 min before going into cool down mode and stopping). But since they have so many, you can always jump to the next one.
I've been here til 1:00 in the morning and after 11:00 you have to be buzzed in! And that buzzer is loud, you can hear it all over the place! For as much money as they charge, I can't believe they don't have someone at the front desk at all times. Its not a total negative as far as signing up goes...it just makes me wonder the value in the $144. At least the membership is month to month so thats definitely something to think over!
